Competition......
2014 Access Broadway Competition
Rules and Regulations Agreement: Prior to your first class you must read over the rules and regulations to being on the Full of Grace Competition Team and the agreement to follow the rules and regulations must be signed by a parent. Visit the General Information page, all forms are listed at the bottom.
Rules and Regulations
All competition students must follow the common rules and regulations as well as the following....
Classes: Every competition student must choose two classes to take. If you are in advanced classes you MUST take a solo.
Competitions: All competition students must do all group classes and production at all of the competitions. It is your choice if you would like to take solos, duets, or trios. There is no longer a local and travel team. At the beginning of the season I will announce what nationals we will be doing so everyone will know well in advance. Later in the season we will hold a parents meeting and you can let me know at that time if you are interested in going to nationals or not. Everyone will be able to go to nationals. If there are enough students to make a group we will take that group. Other wise it will be solos, duets, and trios.
Attire: Must wear black leotard and pink tights to class with hair pulled back (solos, duos, trios, acro, HipHop are casual). If you are not in the proper clothing DO NOT COME TO CLASS!
Attendance: You must make sure you are in class at all times unless you check with your instructor first. You may miss up to one class a month with a valid reason. If you choose to play a sport or any other additional youth group type of activity you are encouraged too. Please see Miss Erica as soon as you make this decision to make the proper arrangements. Please do stay home if you are sick.
Summer Classes: All competition students must take one 45 minute technique class over the summer. They may choose to take the one day dance camp in place of the group class.
Please Note: There are no makeup classes for competition groups unless the teacher sees fit, this is because the classes are already greatly discounted. Also as of the first day of the day of tryouts if you drop off the competition team without a valid medical reason there will be a $250.00 fee. This money does not go to the studio. It gets divided up amongst the competition students for there loss.
